Wrapping up May

May might be the busiest month of the year for us, with the epic collision of end-of-school activities, baseball and t-ball, Mother's Day, Molly's birthday, lots of friend's birthday parties, A's baseball and the beginning of the swim season! Throw in some First Communion parties and two Open Houses, and I'm amazed our calendar didn't spontaneously self-combust!

Here's a glimpse of what our crazy looked like...

We kicked off Mother's Day with a bang, with this charming present from Clara...

...then headed to brunch at our new country club, where I did not have to cook!!

Clara finished her t-ball season with a pizza party, a trophy, and the words of her coach making her feel ten feet tall: "Clara, you were our best hitter this year!" Now to work on her fielding!

We celebrated Molly's 4th birthday once again at the ballpark for one of Joey's baseball games, and headed home for dessert and presents.

Joey got a sneak peek at his own First Communion while attending cousin Megan's the day before!

Clara bonded with baby Luke during Joey's First Communion party.

We heard lots and lots of versions of Clara's recital songs throughout the month!

When she wasn't playing piano, she was primping in her favorite spot... my sink!

One epic Saturday, we had two birthday parties, three baseball/ tball games, and one A's game... here's Molly kicking it off with one of her best buddies, Ava!

My little sidekick is pretty in pink, whether she's headed to the grocery store with me, hanging at the dog park (and pretending to be a dog), or modeling the matching doll and girl jammies she got for her birthday!

Swim season started, and we're pretty excited about it! We're swimming for (yet) another new club, switching allegiances one more time, and loving the tennis courts, the golf and the pool bar! The kids might O.D. on Shirley Temples this summer.

Finally, we hit up Joey and Clara's classrooms for Open House, checked out their awesome artwork, chatted with their amazing teachers, and silently panicked at the idea that the school year is almost over!
