TBall, Take Two

There's just something about this little girl's face when she's playing a sport that I love to pieces. She has a perma-smile and confidence that comes from heaven knows where, a belief that that dirtier you get, the better you played, and an utter and complete love for getting tired and sweaty.

She is game for anything, whether it's donning her brother's old cleats with a smile, using his old baseball belt to cinch up her baseball pants, stopping grounders with his hand-me-down glove, stepping confidently up to the plate, or running past her teammate at third base in her rush to get home.

It's her second year of tee-ball, and her sixth year of living in a baseball-obsessed house, so this little pigtailed girl knows her way around the diamond, and has not hesitated at all in showing all of the boys on her team how to hit, catch and throw.

Here's to another season of baseball, times two!
