Our one and only thumbsucker shows no signs of giving up her habit. In fact, she's a self-proclaimed expert on it.
Her big sister famously (in our family) told her preschool teacher on her 4th birthday, "I know everything now." But Molly, two months before turning 4, apparently has a much smaller scope of knowledge.
"I know a lot of things," she told me this week. "I know all about thumbs. I know that if you suck them too hard they will fall off. And I know that my thumb makes my mouth feel cozy. I also know about puppies, Rottweilers and Mastiffs. And I know all about Slurpees. That's all I know."
