It's Fall, Y'All!

How do we know? By the gorgeous bounty of crimson and gold leaves on the liquid amber trees in our front yard. They truly mark the change in seasons for us, and are never more majestic or beautiful than this time of year, when they make cars slow down on our street, inspire drivers to emerge and take photos, and always, always cause neighborhood walkers to marvel.

This year, we returned from a weekend away for Uncle Mike and Aunt Mariesa's wedding in Sebastapol to see our yard carpeted with newly fallen leaves, and nothing could keep our kids away from them!

The leaves still called, but we pried the kids away from the yard so we could find some pumpkins for our little pumpkins. This year, we didn't venture any further than our local nursery, but we still manages to find some winners!
