Despite Joey's reservations about its name, we headed to Fairyland on Monday to meet up with cousins Tommy, Lucy and Marco, and had a fantastic time at this pint-sized take on Disneyland. We didn't spot any fairies at all, much to Joey's relief, but the kids did have fun on the miniature train, the Peter Pan pirate ship, and the Alice in Wonderland underground tunnel.
I had my hands full, and only managed to take a few pictures. The best of the bunch: Joey spotted this mommy kangaroo, and didn't have to be told twice to leap into its pocket:

Isn't Fairyland cute!?!?! The first time I heard of this place was when we went there for Tyler's nieces b-day party earlier this year. Tyler and I actually weren't allowed entrance into the park since we didn't have a child. We had to call his sister and "borrow" one of her kids so we could get in. It was comical! Sounds like the kids had a blast!

I love the picture! So glad you had both the 'hands' and the presence of mind to snap this one. (A pouch would actually come in pretty handy about now, wouldn't it....) This picture reminds me to give Joey an old (and rather unique) salt and pepper shaker that belonged to great grandmother Eleanor Cecchin. I've been waiting for the right moment and from the look on his face, this is it!
