Soup

I knew I wasn't exaggerating about all the fog... Tim sent me this lovely reminder yesterday, taken from his office window downtown, looking west toward our house. I think he's trying to torment me.

Even Joey is over wearing winter wear in July. Snippets from the past few days have included,

"The frog is blowing all around us!"

"We can't see anything!"

and, most tellingly,

"Mommy, why doesn't the sun like San Francisco?"

that picture could have been taken any day in the last two weeks.

Those quotes are so cute and so sad at the same time.

hmmm... when the sun shines too brightly, Tommy says "No sunshine!" I think we have a greater influence on our kids than we ever imagine! I'm just glad Fall clothes are finally in the stores so I could buy Tommy some long pants!

Oh, another Joey quote. Last week at Jeff & Sarah's he said, "Meredith, is this sunshine?"

Over here on the East Coast, it's been rain. Every day, it's rain. The other day, it was rain, with tornados and hail. A friend of mine with two toddlers and an infant told me yesterday, that if it rained ONE MORE DAY, she was throwing herself out a window. I oughta check on her, cuz it's rained all day today, too!
