At long last, Joey now has a full-size bed, after a back-breaking morning that involved me disassembling two cribs, re-assembling Joey's old crib in Clara's room, and attaching the headboard and footboard from Clara's crib to a full-size frame in Joey's room.
Joey lended a hand at some critical points, kept up a running commentary that mostly included the word "why???", policed the area and kept it free of baby girls, and puttered around with his tool set acting important. Who says you need husbands? ;)

Sigh. Look at how clean and perfect Joey's room looks! I can only wish my kid's rooms were HALF that clean! I recently told Jasin it would be easier to just cut the kid's rooms off the house and re-build new ones.
I love his bed! How do you make sure he doesn't fall off?
Good for you, Sara! Joey's big boy bed looks wonderful! (I'll bet you were ready for bed after your big day, also...)

That's easy. We let him fall off until he learns not to.
Tim, in otherwords, you refine his jumping skills so he just gets better at it! I happen to have one of those at home....
