Spring Snow

Last week, the kids and I escaped our kitchen remodel and arrived in Tahoe two days after a huge snow storm. We discovered more snow at our cabin than I ever remember seeing. It was as high as the roofline in places, completely blocked the back sliding door, and rose on either side of the driveway in banks as high as ten feet. Joey and Clara were (momentarily) speechless when we came to a stop in front of the house.

But we lucked out, and the month of March ended like the proverbial lamb. We were treated to temperatures in the 60s, enjoyed sledding in shirtsleeves and snow pants, and could practically see the snow melting before our eyes.

Here's the proof!

We spent our indoor time coloring, building elaborate Batcaves, and snuggling with Molly.

And finally, proof that Mommy was there! She looks like she might have gone a little crazy being around little people for four days straight, though!
