Happy Birthday Clara Jane!

Yes, this birthday wish is two days late... that's par for the course around here lately, with construction chaos inside and outside of the house!

Seemingly overnight, our little toddling Clara has turned into a little girl, and we celebrated her third birthday with dinner at home, presents, and ice cream for dessert. She loved blowing out her candles, gushed over all of her presents ("I didn't know that was going to be BLOCKS!!! I love blocks!!" and "I got new sunglasses!! WOW!"), and no sooner had she turned three, than she was announcing she was three and a half. Hold your horses, little lady!!

Big brother Joey was happy to partake in the birthday festivities, offering advice all along on the most effective procedures for unwrapping presents and blowing out candles... our little efficiency expert in the making!
