Here she is minutes after birth, unbelievably alert, calm, and content.
She has a touch of jaundice and was also born with a minor cleft lip -- so minor that it wasn't detected on ultrasound, and it definitely hasn't impacted her feeding. We'll consult with a specialist about surgery in her future, probably before she turns a year old, but for now, we're enjoying this precious little smile.

How absolutely precious! She looks so very very sweet and content! I love the pictures! Some of them look prefessional! Glad you're settling in! Here's to long nights, and comfy sweats and the absolute contentment of rocking new babies! :)
