Joey embraced his Italian roots on Sunday with a birthday party at a local pizzeria (we'll have to compensate by having a dynamite corned beef and cabbage feast this year on St. Patrick's Day!).
He and his little friends and cousins made their own creations, which ranged from "no cheese, just olives and marinara suace" to true works of pepperoni-themed art. While the pizzas were baking, they also colored and experimented with their own "dough" -- Play-Doh -- and then decorated their own cupcakes for dessert. I think everyone had fun, except maybe the clean-up crew at Giorgio's once our own crew departed ;)
