It would be a brief stay. Just long enough to complete a job that our two 100-pound dogs are apparently too squeamish or pampered to execute...
Daily sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning up after said canines -- not to mention two small children -- have made me almost immune to most messes. But finding evidence that a mouse has been on top of our kitchen table is beyond the pale.
Let us know if you know of a qualified applicant! Other fast-acting, immediate solutions will also be considered!

I have an animal with no mouse experience but he has 2 gophers on his resume. One delivered to my living room floor. The other, well we only found half of it...
Anyway, you can have him for your hunt if you want him. There is one thing you should know: Finn is my hunter. So you have to decide, do you want a mouse or Finn? I assume you'll need some time to think about it.
Desperate times call for desperate measures!
You can borrow our dog (Lani) for a bit. We live right near open space and have had everything from mice to lizards to birds and bunnies come through our door. They don't stay long though because Lani chases them all. Mice are the only things she's ever caught though. And even then, she just played with them.
I could send you Scooter, and Flashlight, our two cats. They are excellent hunters, with lots and lots of mice, moles, birds and whatever else dares cross their paths added to their impressive list. Or, I could just send you Lexi, who caught a mouse a year or so ago. She saw it, threw a piece of cardboard on it, then jumped on it. Let me know!!!
