Little Maverick

It's a somber night tonight in the Cecchin house, but at least I had fun voting with the kids! Joey appreciated the snacks and beverages that our neighbor polling place provided (note the orange juice on his shirt), and did his best to spread the gospel during our half-hour wait in line, by loudly asking, "You vote CAIN, Mommy??? Oh, yay!" Now that is truly a maverick move in San Francisco!

Love it! Meanwhile in Berkeley, I notice (from the public posting on the doorway of the firestation) that Taki and I are the only Republicans on our street. Nice. Wonder when the house will get egged.

Your polling place had snacks?! I had to bring my own animal crackers to keep him occupied.

seriously, no snacks for us either! Joe the Toddler lucked out! Tommy sported his I Voted sticker to daycare though and loved it!

And by the way, this story is KILLING when I retell it all over town.
